To the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines that lost their lives so that America may be free: you were heroes all.
You fought valiantly, to the bitter end, when your country needed you most, and you never gave an inch. Many brave servicemen of both sexes fell, fighting for the Stars and Stripes, and for their posterity. When the odds were against you, you did what needed to be done to ensure victory for the United States.
War is not pretty, war is not simple, war is not fun. But you fought and you died so others may live.
