It may seem like I’ve dropped off the face of the Internet, but believe me, I have not forgotten about any of you. It’s just that a combination of my day job and my personal projects have left me little time for Twitter/Gab and blogging.
Therefore, a progress report is in order.
First off, I have not abandoned the Appendix N Review Series at all. A review of Fredric Brown’s Martians Go Home will come this Saturday, followed by a non-Appendix N review of the first book in a very notorious fantasy series.
Second, I have been working on a novel, and I am roughly two-thirds done with the first draft; I plan to finish the draft on the week of Election Day. Once the first draft is done, I will put out a call for beta readers, who will have to commit to reading it all within 30 days.
Finally, I have been following this talk of a “new pulp revival” with great interest. I will do something related to it in the near future; watch this space for future developments.
That’s all I wanted to say. Talk to you all later.
Put me down as a potential beta-reader. I’m not quite sure what my schedule will be, but if I can squeeze in the time, I’d love to help. Shoot me an email when it’s done, and I’ll let you know if I can or not.
Thanks. I’ll let you know when it’s ready.
