Another week, still more work to do. On that front, I have some bad news and some good news.
Let’s start with the bad news: I have no clue when I’ll finish my novel. Writing it has been a difficult slog, and while I do know how I want it to end, it feels like I’m getting nowhere with it, just running in place. That being said, I do intend to finish it — I just can’t give any firm timetables.
Lest you think that I have become Rawle R. R. Nyanzi, however, I’ve got good news: my pulps are coming along well, whether we’re talking about planning or writing. It has given me some measure of solace regarding my novel, since I’ll be able to put something out in the near future instead of nothing. After all, real artists ship, and sometimes, you’ve just got to walk around writer’s block. When the next pulp is ready, I will announce a call for beta readers on this site and on my Twitter. The Pulp Revival must continue apace!
Also, another Appendix N review is coming this weekend, so there’s always that. Those books are always a charm.
